To keep the false negative rate of vacuum biopsy (VAB) of the former tumour bed (= clip location) and the immediate surrounding at a low level, we are organizing specific VAB Hands-on courses in Austria and Switzerland within the next months. In Switzerland, these will be integrated into the regular Hands-on MIBB Certification Courses. The objective is to reliably suck off the surrounding of the clip and the clip itself by means of VAB.<\/p>\n

Provided, the participants have sufficient knowledge of VAB <\/strong>(i.e. registered as MIBB member in Switzerland\/ in Non-Swiss regions sufficient expertise in VAB with > 40 VAB within the last 2 y), we recommend a VISION-Trial Hands-on instruction (at a charge of 40 Fr to cover catering and course material); The VISION-Trial instruction will be integrated into the next MIBB Hands-on Certification Course on Wednesday, 28th August, 2019 at the Cantonal Hospital St. Gallen<\/strong> (one day prior to the Senology Congress).<\/p>\n

Time: 1.45 -3.30 am (13.45 -15.30)<\/strong> \u2013with no additional entitlement to participate instereotact.\/ MR-vacuum biopsy and with no certificate of attendance (for that the entire course would need to be visited)<\/p>\n
